Guitar Scores
2011Guitar Scores is a performance that consists in playing the electric guitar with a lead pencil on paper.
The action produces a superimposition of playing impressions from which a graphic composition is born. The score is only a possible future, a tension between the recording and the inscription. A temporality of the gesture in the thickness of the sound and pictorial matter. The looped sound becomes denser as the image darkens. In the end, an attempt of simultaneous vision and hearing of an improvised gesture takes place.
